Harry Snyder of National Grid in collaboration with Mark Sanborn, Director of Energy Resources at Worcester Community Action Counsel, will be present on energy programs on winterization, energy saving programs for owners & landlords, & fuel assistance for owners & tenants and who will qualify.
This will be a great opportunity to spread the word of the conservation programs offered through Worcester Community Action Council presented by Harry Snyder and Mark Sanborn along with . Austin Sheatsley from Action, Inc. who oversees the National Grid Energy Wise Program for the commonwealth will speak about the programs. We will also have information about a pilot program offered by NSTAR Gas to upgrade heating systems, DOE Weatherization, utility arrearage management and LIHEAP.
This will be great timing with the FY2009 LIHEAP (fuel assistance) program starting November 1st. With the tight economy and high cost of energy this winter it will be more important than ever that property owners and managers know of all the resources available to their tenants to help keep the heat on and conserve at the same time
